Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy is provided in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981.

The purpose of this policy is to inform customers of their rights regarding the cancellation of transactions made through the Bertega platform (www.bertega.com).

1. Right to Cancel a Transaction

Customers who purchase products through the website may cancel their transaction within 14 days from the date of receiving the product, or from the date of receiving the transaction details, whichever is later, in accordance with the provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

2. How to Submit a Cancellation Request

3. Cancellation Fees

If the transaction is cancelled for reasons not related to a defect in the product or a mismatch between the product and its description, the seller may charge cancellation fees in accordance with the law.

Cancellation fees shall not exceed 5% of the transaction amount or 100 ILS, whichever is lower.

4. Refund Process

In the event of a valid cancellation request, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, in accordance with applicable law.

Refunds will be processed within the time period required by the Israeli Consumer Protection Law after approval of the cancellation.

5. Product Condition Upon Return

In cases where a product must be returned following a cancellation request, the product must be returned in reasonable condition and, where possible, in its original packaging.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

If the product received by the customer is defective or does not match the description presented at the time of purchase, the customer may cancel the transaction without cancellation fees, in accordance with the provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

7. Marketplace Notice

Bertega operates as an online marketplace platform that connects buyers and independent sellers.
Individual sellers using the platform may be responsible for fulfilling orders, handling returns, and processing cancellations, unless stated otherwise.
